Tutorial: Adding an external RSS feed. Test

As and when the construction of this blog, I propose, using some tutorials to share with you how I method for the design.

Thank BELLENGER John Paul, creator the invaluable Capturino 1.4 allowed me to take screenshots of the tutorial and the entire blog. Version 2 seems sleep and already downloaded.

The pitch:
I have a little "galley" to introduce a flow of information "video games" on my site. I first method by introducing an external flow blogging. But the record does not suit me, I tried to understand the internal setup flow blogger I had not initially understood. Here the approach supporting photographs:


The walkthrough:
In your browser, first enter the following address: http://pretty-rss.snyke.com/get-your-script.htm

1. takes you to snyke . com, a site that allows you to easily find and insert a stream on your blog. The initial screen is as follows:
   
   


2. The first thing to do is click on the tab at the top "RSS Directories". Appears search form of a feed URL from a site name. Personally, I am interested in news feeds Site Gamekult.com (a stream as another in real say). In the text box I type then the site address www.gamekult.com then I click on "search":
   
   


3. then obtained the following screen that displays the green address that interests us: the flow of news gamekult.com it will enter the manager's internal flow of blogging. Think also now in green paste the address in question into the clipboard (Ctrl-C):
   
   
   


4. Now go back on the "Customize" your blog. Click "Add Page Element". A new window appears with all the elements that can be inserted into a blogger. One we want is a little further down the window and is called "RSS" simply:
   
   
   
5. Once you click the "Add to Blog" element "RSS" new window opens prompting you to enter the feed address that was previously copied to the clipboard. It remains for us to paste in the text box:
   
   


6. extraction of flux and then place it is displayed wherever you want on your page. You can to change the title and move it like any other page elements. I named mine "Recent news of the video game" and I placed third after the "Who am I?" and "the great Frequently Asked Questions"
   
   


7. The flow appears well on the site. Moreover you can see mine in the left column of the Blog. Have fun!
