Google "PowerPoint" means the return of Java on the web? 5 reasons

The web is something so rich that he regularly finds old techniques as a solution to new uses:
- thus we have rediscovered, 3 years ago, Javascript interfaces to enrich
- that Flash becomes an acceptable solution for many problems
- and Java could repoint the tip of his nose thanks to Google

Let me explain. Google has recently explained that his house powerpoint (planned for the summer) would use a technology came from a box bought recently ( Tonic Systems). The site of the box in question has disappeared, but the Google cache (!) Tells us that these people offered a Java API to make the powerpoint.

And then, you say? And then I tell you, it could be that using very Java (client side) is an excellent solution for:
- firstly, do offline / online
- secondly, to facilitate a number of functions that are difficult for web users such as copying images.

If everything I say were true, it could mark the return of Java very interesting at the time of RIA ... And no play Irma me too badly so far, so I try my luck!
